Capitalism vs Socialism: Understanding Capitalism

“Hey, hey, hey, what’s up, YouTube? My name
is Blac B L A C and you’re watching the Blac Show.” Actually, we’re watching mobile phone
that you’ve forgot to turn the other way around. “And what I’m going to talk about today man,
it’s about capitalism and socialism.” Here goes folks! “Ben Shapiro says that socialism
is trash and that capitalism is the way to go.” I concur with what Ben Shapiro says,
socialism is trash and capitalism is the way to go. “I believe that capitalism is a means
for the rich to enslave the poor so that they can work for their ass for the rest of their
lives so they can live, you know what I’m saying? Happily ever after in big houses and
mansions playing golf and shit.” Capitalism is all about the free market economy and therefore,
what capitalism is all about is rewarding people based on merit. So equality used to
stand for, giving people equal opportunity, it did not mean everybody finishing the same
position. Under capitalism, there never was this guarantee that someone was going to be
extremely wealthy, if there was enough resources to go around everyone, there would be no point
in economising, that’s the whole purpose of the study of economics, because there’s not
enough resources to go around everyone, we do need to economise and the most efficient
system that enables us to do that is capitalism. Whereas, under socialism, it creates waste.
“So capitalism seems right and sells everybody the dream of being up there with all of them,
but that’s all it is is a dream, it ain’t real, it’s an illusion to have you working
your ass off so they can sit there play golf, eat steak and shrimp all day.” That’s all
well sitting there in your car saying that, benefiting from capitalism such as the clothes
you’re wearing or even the car that you’re driving. Capitalism has closed the wealth
gap between the rich and poor, as I pointed out in the previous video, between 1780 to
1850 Great Britain saw the wealth gap close and even the wealth gap had closed in Hong
Kong and it wasn’t until government’s interference that had began, that you began to see wealth
gap open up. “Capitalism is a tool for slavery, we live in America especially, you know what
I’m saying? We’re modern day slavery using the tool of socia… uh? Of capitalism.” No,
you do not live under a capitalist system today, a capitalist system is defined by individualism
and that in turn defines a free market economy, which would mean you would have free market
money and the interest rates would be set by the free market, as well, of course, the
ratio of money and you would have the free and voluntary exchange in the marketplace.
This is being very much limited today, because what you live under is strong corporatism.
“Socialism, I believe, you know what I’m saying? Intertwined with a little bit of capitalism
and socialism, you know? It’ll work and I believe in a utopia as long as we all work
together and all on board. Socialism will work because it puts everybody on a equal
playing field. Now, one thing that Ben Shapiro said was that, that socialism is bullshit
because if 300 people are standing in a room and I have one hundred dollars and the other
dude decides to take those one hundred dollars, it’s not right no matter how much we vote,
that it’s okay to steal from somebody else, you know what I’m saying? He said it to something,
you know, that that’s not verbatim or whatever, but, he says something to that degree, that
pretty much, socialism is stealing.” A contribution denotes voluntarism and there is no voluntary
action. You could even argue that if you became employed through a company by law, you pay
taxation. Do you have the option to opt out of the income tax in order to earn one hundred
percent of what you earn? No individual of society consented to the income tax, therefore,
it is theft. “Now, if socialism is stealing, for example me, I’m a, I’m a, I’m a man, I
have a wife, I have kids, okay? Now my kids living under my roof, okay? My kids they depend
on me. So, if socialism is stealing, then so is every time your kids going to your refrigerator
and eat your box of cereal, they’re stealing from your ass.” Compare that to a complete
stranger, let’s just say someone who lives over the other end of the city from you, or
maybe even someone who lives over the other end of the country from you, who doesn’t even
know you, hasn’t a clue who you are, yet is forced to pay an income tax to pay for things
that you may benefit from. Now, it’s down to them whether they choose to give their
money charitably, that’s their right, to then say that they do not have a right to that
is you calling them a slave, which is quite ironic considering the fact, you were the
one claiming about slavery and how capitalism is so wrong. “They stealing from you. So if
you’re going to say socialism is stealing, then you better start checking your kids and
put their ass to work, put your own kids in a mother fucking cotton field or wherever
the fuck, you know what I’m saying? Put them somewhere and start working for what they
need, make them start working and paying for their school and their clothes, because if
that’s the case, then your kids are stealing from you. But you don’t see it like that,
right? Nah, you don’t see it like that. What you see, you know what I’m saying? Is that
those kids need your help, man, they won’t make it without you. So, pretty much America
and capitalists and stuff like that, it’s pretty much they don’t give a fuck about the
kids and they’re putting kids to work and slavery and not giving them what they need
and the kids are the poor people.” You can tell that you don’t understand the history
of child labour, because prior to the industrial revolution, they had extremely high death
rate across the entire world, the average life expectancy of a child was the age of
9 and they were forced to work endless hours for such little pay on farms, not because
of anybody else, not because of capitalists, not because of capitalism, but simply because
if they did not work, they were going to die of starvation. Now all they had was their
hands to work with, they didn’t have all the machines in those days or the factories. So,
this is why they were forced to work endless hours for such little pay. It was thanks to
the factories, it was thanks to capitalism that enabled them to better improve their
wealth, their wages as well of course, greatly reduce the working hours to give them the
luxury and they better improved their material standards of living. “So, socialism is not
stealing, socialism is seeing that somebody else need help who, who, who is not in the
position that you’re in and that you have the means and ability to help them but you
don’t, why? Because you’re greedy and you rather have somebody else making your bed,
you rather have somebody else clean up your shit, you rather have somebody else doing
what you don’t want to do because you’re a lazy mother fucker and you rather be out there
living in mansions getting your dicks up fine ass bitches and females or whatever and playing
golf, eating steak and shrimp.” It’s all a quesiton of, how do you provide for the less
fortunate? From what I gather, you believe in force through theft and violence and that’s
how you believe people should pay for the less fortunate. Why is it greed for an individual
to want to keep their own money and not greed for other people to demand other people’s
money? People who support capitalism do not believe in force and theft, we believe in
voluntary contributions, therefore, we believe that individuals should keep one hundred percent
of their own earnings and then choose freely what they wish to do with their own money.
If they worked hard and earned their own money, they have a right to their own money. Now,
it’s down to them to choose what they do with it, if they wish to give into charitable operations,
that’s their free choice, there’s nothing wrong with that.

  2. What he said about being greedy and lazy and "rather have somebody else making your bed" got me thinking.

Let's say there's a man who owns a popular clothing store and a woman who runs a maid service. The man works hard and doesn't want to deal with cleaning his home. So he hires the maid service to clean up after his "lazy" self. He has more time to spend on his work or well-being, ensuring that the store he owns will be a further success and that he will be able to pay his employees, take on more of them as business grows, and contribute to the charitable organization he supports. Meanwhile, the woman has gained another wealthy customer, also allowing her to employ and pay more people AND buy nice clothes from the man's store. That's just two people and their employees. There are so many more people sustained by these two doing self-interested business, people such as clothes manufacturers, building contractors, cleaning supply companies, and even everyone involved in making the pencil and sticky note that the clothing store owner first used to remind himself to hire a maid.

But the reality today is that the woman gets tax benefits for running a woman-owned business and the man gets to pay not just for her benefits, but also for government schools (where other people's children learn that capitalism is evil), EPA officials (who make sure the globe doesn't warm), a government prepaid healthcare policy (that allows the man to get an abortion or mammogram if he needs one), and a team of tax officials (with masters degrees so they can wrap their minds around the labyrinthine tax code). Oh, and the man never owned a clothing store because staying at his government job was easier and less risky than starting a new enterprise under the regulations that make all these wonderful and necessary things possible.
