I am from Potosí and…I want to declare the following…Dr. I am sorry, Journalist… We were 14 people that were hostages The main thing here is that we were traveling to la Paz peacefully. We just asked them to let us pass… That is it. All of the sudden dynamite starting exploding like fireworks. we were in awe, because the majority of us are either; students, people from the country side of Potosi, Chuquisaca and Santa Cruz…. So, they started to throw dynamite at us… left and right….without a care… As you can see the 11 busses that we used as transportation are all destroyed, not a single bus is intact as you can see. They took us as hostages (14 Hostages)…and even in war you get some aid…. but us as hostages they forced us to get naked, to take all our clothes…The forced us to get naked… All of us…they forced us to kneel…Is that Democracy? I I want to announce to the press and to all the Bolivian People… That is not Democracy. They forced us to kneel, they forced us to lay on our stomachs, naked, naked, just with our under wear on… They forced us to the ground and they wouldn’t let us look up they hit us with bats, stole my cellphone; wallet, shoes, they stole everything… I asked them to at least give me my wallet back, where all my documents are, ID, my drivers License…F#$K You, we are going to kill you…. Now here is the most interesting part…after they assaulted us and humiliated us…all of us… I was the most fortunate one of my partners… I want the press to know… my other partners were not as lucky as I was… They were severely beat up… they took us to the hills…and then forced us to line up and yell… Now, you are going to say….That Camacho payed you $100…. and the other one replied; NO! Say that he gave you $500, Say it! Yell it! while they were hitting us with their bats, Say it!… Yell it!! No body else were taking pictures there…..Just them! We as people, to protect our lives, had to say: Yes! They said: All at once!! Sing it!! while they continued beating us! Say; He gave you $500, They forced us to say it! They forced us to say things we did not want to Say, things we did not agree with…Such as, Camacho…this is all your fault!!! Now here comes the most interesting part. The first 3 doctors to arrive to the scene, whom (I want to thank them, to this Medics from Oruro) They came for our Aid. as soon as I saw them I thought… Thank God….if they burn us as alive….at least there will be witnesses… But the Medics were threatened by the rest of the people… They told the Medics: If you are not with the government, if you are supporting the straight… then, We will take the 3 of you with this other 14 low lives to burn you alive all together! Is that democracy?! I want an answer from this Madman Evo!…Do you call that Democracy!? That is not Democracy! We have people that are severely hurt, violently beat up… We are 10 people from Potosi, 2 from Chuquisaca and 2 from Santa Cruz…. I want to tell you, I don’t regret it, I actually feel stronger now! I want to tell the Government, I want to tell to all the people from Bolivia that this government has to leave!!! Yes or Yes!! That is not Democracy!! From Santa Cruz, to Chuquisaca, to Potosi and all the people from La Paz, you have to be united, Because, that is not Democracy! It has been proven to all of us, that we are not living a Democracy!!! This is Tyranny, Dictatorship!!! Worst than Garcia Mesa. People from the press….I am so sorry, I lost my voice! That is all I have to say.
