Justice – A Matter of Perception | Thriller Short Film by Mohan Singh Gaharwar | Rather Other Guys

hello sir.. ayush, hi.. come on in you are very punctual, i mean you said 3 pm but arrived at 4.30 pm… (laughs) yeah sir, i am so sorry sir is your sorry enough? no sir i am literally sorry argh..don’t be , actually ayush you should only say sorry when it can overshadow your mistake so ayush, what’s going on in your life nothing great sir, just college-home-college assignment ….project, just being busy in all that ohh yeah, you were working on some project yes sir, actually i came here to discuss that ……… its about our judicial system oh okay okay, but you could have mailed me, i would have revived there only no no sir i wanted to discuss this in person carry on……coffee sure sir actually sir my project is based upon the greatness of our judicial system greatness of judicial system…greatness….strange what sir ?….. i mean why you choose a topic on which you can write only three words, in which two of them are judicial system no, no sir..in fact i can write a book on this book…ayush are you kidding, i never expected that a brilliant student like you would write a book on the greatness of judicial system sir, you are saying this i mean you left teaching that’s why or you views got changed ayush its not about interest or i left teaching….. you know practically if i say, i see so many drawbacks in our judicial system, which should be fixed out and you see greatness and i am damn sure this is because you haven’t done good research on this no no sir i have done so much research on this, actually i am on this since past three months oh three months ….three months 13 years aruna shanbaug, let me tell you aruna shanbaug 1973, its was a day as any other day aruna was working as a nurse in an hospital, she reached the hospital as there was cleaning going on,
aruna shanbaug 1973, its was a day as any other day aruna was working as a nurse in an hospital, she reached the hospital as there was cleaning going on, one cleaner saw aruna in the nurse dress and went out of control in that way, and he raped aruna, after raping aruna he wanted to erase all the evidence so he choked aruna to death by wrapping a metal chain around her neck and then he ran away. the fact is that aruna was not dead and you know…. she is brain dead since then till now and what happened to the cleaner they caught the cleaner, arrested him, jailed him for 7 years….. but you know for why…… murder and theft…..where is justice? this is only one case…… let me tell you another i remember now soni sori….. some police men arrested soni sori for being an informer to a Maoist gang, after arresting her n number of policemen raped soni sori for days repeatedly…. then some hearings were conducted and after sometime this case got dismmised by saying that she was the informer… i mean lets assume that she was the informer but does the judicial system of our country say this that to punish a women suspect, she should be raped. okay i got it…but there are many cases around in which our police and judicial system did a splendid job….. you must have heard about the recent nithari incident, how police coped up with the informers and then by a sequential manner and system justice was prevailed of course they did, but once a while…. Let me tell u about one more case Suryanelli, (kerala) in these case a girl was trapped in a marriage proposal. The boy make her ran away with him. the place where he took her, there were 41 people (men) were already present. they kept her for about 40 days. And they all 42 men for that 40 days raped her brutally.. you know who were these 42 people ? Some politicians, that guy who proposed her, some relatives and some known people. can I ask u one thing sir? What I see, is that In all of your researches mainly rape cases are centralized. Let us see all these case from a criminals perspective,… how can that girl remembers all the faces of that 42 men who raped her. what do you mean? I mean, what if that girl recognize a wrong man ? i mean 100 guilty can be left out but no innocent should be punished you still stick to your ”so called law”. What if those 100 guilty continues doing crime. you didn’t think about that Let it be, just tell me , can you tell this bullshit to the victims family? practically it happens but… no but but , just tell me simply. A person is found guilty now what? according to system a case will filed against the person then if he is guilty , he will be jailed, simple simple, huh now he will be jailed as well. What is jail? Means if I rape someone, robe ,murder or harass .what happens at the end? Jail. For criminals jail is a 2 star hotel. “NO PAY JUST STAY” policy is there. According to his crime he/she spends his/her time then what? He/she will do this crime again . now with doubled its intensity. Because he knows where he will head to-“ The jail” Now he knows that the jail is his favorite hotel. NO PAY JUST FU*** STAY no no sir. People goes to jail and fix and then work on themselves. I saw many criminals who improvise and upgrade themselves .
no no sir. People goes to jail and fix and then work on themselves. I saw many criminals who improvise and upgrade themselves . okay, let me tell you an example , take it as a story. Rahul a decent boy . belongs to a good family, father is govt. employ. Mother is a house wife. Lives in a joint family. According to his family and friends rahul is a good boy, his friend circle only consist of boys and you know rahul is in that age where he wants those things, then one day he see a girl and does that..you know what i am saying then according to your judicial system he gets jailed for let say 10 years now he is working himself to be a better person..according to you but what is he really doing, waiting..waiting ..waiting building up his intensity that when he will be out he will dos this again and after 10 years when he gets out he spots a girl So Mr. young lawyer of the nation , what will rahul do. okay sir, according to your story which is an example . no one should be jailed. Direct death sentence is that you are saying. no no . I dint mean that as well but “ TIT for TAT” I mean the criminal should get the same what he did but with double impact. no, no ,no sir I don’t believe in this. I still believe in the system and every one should get an another chance. alright this is what you think and I cant change it. May be in upcoming years you might be talking something else. Lets get back to your project. Coffee? sure sir sir i have made some bullet points ayush yes sir ohh…shit hey ayush i am sorry..i am sorry sir is your sorry enough? hey i am literally sorry
sir is your sorry enough? hey i am literally sorry sir here your sorry isn’t overshadowing your mistake
