MENTAL OMEGA 3.3.4 – Soviet Fan Mission, REVENGE

Mental Omega 3.3.4 for C&C Red Alert 2 Yuri’s Revenge, Soviet Fan Mission Revenge by Mengxin Mental Omega 3.3.4 is next part of mods for Red Alert 2, after Mental Omega 1.2, Mental Omega 2.0 and Mental Omega 3.0 Music from Frank Klepacki, KKnD, Smiechu and Jesper Kyd Mission Location – Stalington, former Soviet States of America For the best comfort, it is recommended to watch the video in Fullscreen (1920×1080) The mission is only available in Chinese, so it might be confusing for the players how to understand the objectives of this mission, cause it has few gimmicks First, the mission on Mental has got a way more difficult start that might too S/L dependant, the moment where MCV deploys while still in battle is quite unfair Once the MCV deploys, the battlefield control is offline (same as in the other difficulties), but on Mental the fight will be mostly still going because of bigger waves So, you go back to the Stalington playing as the USSR, the map is quite large (from Raven) and it features 6 AI controlled bases, 4 of them are Epsilon commanders The first 20 minutes, you have to defend yourself against incoming Mind controlled Allied, Epsilon and Soviet assaults, you must to defend chokepoints and against paratroopers Once the MCV arrives, you should follow the objectives in following order – disable the power for purple and violet Epsilon bases, destroy the Device and then capture an Amplifier There will be two Psychic Dominators coming from the violet and purple bases, while offline they are quite helpless, destroy also the Construction Yard with production facilities Destroying the Device will not trigger the mass EMP Shockwave around the map that instantly DESTROYS all of your flying units, you really do not want to have even the Dreadnoughts disabled Capturing the Psychic Amplifier turns the southmost Epsilon base to your side and south Soviet base under your control, destroying the Amplifier does not turn Epsilon against each other To the west, there is an Allied base that can be captured instantly when clicking the Psychic Beacon, the Allies will join your cause, but do this when Epsilon bases are offline With 3 Epsilon bases remaining to destroy, you will have no problem with crushing them – the only issue might be with Ghost Miners and Shadow Tanks hunting, but it’s rare and random If you really appreciate my content and videos, please leave a like and subscribe to it (REMEMBER ABOUT BELL), you can also join my Discord!

  1. TLDR; Defend yourself, disable the power to avoid being hit by Psychic Dominators, destroy the Device, capture the Psychic Amplifier, reactivate the Psychic Beacon in Allied base, destroy the Epsilon forces in Stalington.

The mission is only available in Chinese, so it might be confusing for the players how to understand the objectives of this mission, cause it has few gimmicks. First, the mission on Mental has got a way more difficult start that might too S/L dependant, the moment where MCV deploys while still in battle is quite unfair. Once the MCV deploys, the battlefield control is offline (same as in the other difficulties), but on Mental the fight will be mostly still going because of bigger waves. So, you go back to the Stalington playing as the USSR, the map is quite large (from Raven) and it features 6 AI controlled bases, 4 of them are Epsilon commanders. Capturing the Psychic Amplifier turns the southmost Epsilon base to your side and south Soviet base under your control, destroying the Amplifier does not turn Epsilon against each other. To the west, there is an Allied base that can be captured instantly when clicking the Psychic Beacon, the Allies will join your cause, but do this when Epsilon bases are offline. With 3 Epsilon bases remaining to destroy, you will have no problem with crushing them – the only issue might be with Ghost Miners and Shadow Tanks hunting, but it's rare and random.

  2. Look at those Apocalypse Tank, they are powerful AF as a Stolen Tech Unit (and it did their job really well at flatten basses with a spam of them)

  4. Would be nice to see a canonized Covert Ops mission about the Soviet resistance in Epsilon-controlled Stalington (Yuriton? Epsilonton?), but I guess that in actual canon the Soviets are too busy with Russia to bother.

That being said, "destroy all enemy forces" is a horrible objective when the enemy has units that cloak. It's not fun. "Destroy all enemy buildings" is much better.

  5. Epsilon destroyed the Pentagon, but not the White house.

I bet they probably put a Yuri's head onto Lincoln's statue in Lincoln Memorial.
