  1. What does this have to do with insurance (or bank, or mutual funds)? If you are going to spend policy holder money on marketing you might want to try and sell a product or service you offer.

  2. You corporations can stop making these kinds of commercials now we all see through it. This one was especially blatant.

  3. Sucky commercial. What makes the sea turtle less important. Unsung heroes matter and your company degrades that. YOU ARE NOT ON THE BOARD

  4. I believe that the turtle and the whale part was a little bit harsh but it was an eye opener for people to see that the sperm whale is actually an endangered species. Whales have been haunted by humans, have been washed up to shore by lack of sonar by humans pollution, I'm just saying, turtles swim to shore lay there eggs and have 100 of babies that has swim to sea, I know there going to have a lot of natural predators eating them but majority of them get to sea.. I believe whales have less babies… But any way the truth hurts.

  7. Ironic that I got this ad in the middle of a Good Place episode. You know the good acts don't count if you're doing them for selfish or immoral purposes, right? Hell, even without the Good Place analogy it's bad. One of the first things I learned in school was "your character is who you are when nobody's watching." Doing good performatively isn't doing good.

  8. People are full of themselves I thought the commercial was hilarious… if you’re that sensitive change the channel when it comes on or change the company you are insured with.. THAT SIMPLE!

  10. 0:44 I feel like I would be more attached to the turtle than the whale, but would cry equally if I said bye to both of them

Edit: 1:04 the blue one is helping out in small ways, and I like that better

  11. This commercial makes me feel that this generation (or is it just men) only does good things if it benefits them personally by getting them "on the board" in a competition. I get that the whale rolling it's eye is supposed to let us in on the joke, but it doesn't really make up for the bad messaging.

  12. It all may be well and good, to do good, but in the end, what does the commercial really say? Size matters.
