Romanian Socialist Vlog #2 – Background Story

Romanian Socialist Vlog #2 – Background Story

Do not be misled.
I am probably the only one on this continent who is able to do that.
I would also like to add one more thing. DO NOT CLICK AWAY
Because in this episode I will share with you a little story that happened
in the background. As suggested by Stipopedia.
Yesterday morning, I woke up to realize that this channel had 5 times more subscribers
and views than it did when I went to sleep.
And this was my reaction Do not get me wrong. I never allow myself to get too excited over subscribers. The last time someone got too excited in this
country he was joined by a lot of other people…
…who also got excited. You might wonder what this has to do with
I love it when you cheer for nothing And if they do not cheer for nothing
I will not talk to them anymore when they call me
from the concentration camps Now
Not much can be said about the surroundings. They do look cinematic and I used them as
a location for many of my video and film making projects.
But other than that, it is not interesting. Except for that house you can see behind me.
The house was abandoned sometime in 2008 or 2009. The question is why.
The glass walls certainly turn it into a giant oven.
It would take twice Romania’s economy just to pay for the air conditioning
And that is something you can not afford when you have to fix the sidewalk every two weeks.
But the house is not abandoned because of the technical issues.
It is abandoned because of what is underneath it. An aerial bomb from the Second World War. Of course, this is only a rumor.
And you might ask yourself why they did not remove the bomb.
Well, this is the former Socialist Republic and that bomb is quite expensive.
You can use it to pay for the air conditioning… …and fix the sidewalk.
And that’s about all I can say about the background. Thank you for watching this.
This series is not over, so if you have an idea for a further episode, let us know in
the comments. If you haven’t already, please subscribe and
well, like the Facebook page. That sound so cliche.
I’ll see you in the next episode.

  1. I agree a day in your life would be cool. What is it like in Romania? Maybe interview some people?
