for the second time in less than a week teenagers storm a South Street business workers are fed up and want these quote disrespectful teens punished Eyewitness News Kimberly Davis is live along South Street at the Wawa where these teens showed up today Kim yeah Jessica eyewitnesses are hoping something can be done to stop these teens from wreaking havoc across Philadelphia but the good news tonight is that no one was hurt this time there's only one way I witnesses describe the aftermath of kids looting a Society Hill Wawa Wednesday afternoon so disrespectful they have no morals at all Fred Bedford works at hen house flats and says this is nothing new for the area take what they want come running out the store knocking people over whoever's in they way get out of my way that's what they do and they will knock you down and they will mace or that they get on any bikes and start running off this is a problem Philadelphia Police have been dealing with throughout the summer just last week this Walgreens was looted on the 1800 block of South Street and a 46 year old customer assaulted on the 4th of July residents who work on South Street say they can't understand why young people would choose to loop businesses with their free time they're not like older yeah they're like they're like young kids so it's like it's kind of shocking that they're kind of doing this so they're doing it just to be unlike you know for social media or whatever police are working on tracking down the kids responsible but those who work on South Street say war needs to be done it's hard to catch them kids on bikes and what the police need to do is have bicycle cops down here to catch them and just like I said if they would catch them if they would catch them throw them in jail put them in jail had the parents come get them and once they parents come get them find their parents about $250 $300 I'll bet you to stop all that curfew Flyers are posted all across the area reminding children that they are not to be out on the streets past 11 p.m. during the week and that curfew is being strictly enforced by Philadelphia police we're live in Society Hill I'm Kimberly Davis cbs3 Eyewitness News Kimberly thank you

I'm black and I'm telling you they are from the hoods and come down into those area to be idiots.They think it's sweet down there in that area because it's high society and money.We never did that 10-15 years ago I used to come to those areasto eat and relax away from the hoods.Times are crazy.

  6. I think they targeted that Wawa because there’s no security cameras. If they did have footage of what these young people looked like, I’m sure they’d be in this news report
