South Korea and Japan have clashed that
the World Trade Organization six times to settle dispute over the years out of
the six cases three are ongoing but in the one settles safe are the WTO has

causing another WTO dispute the WTO eventually ruled in favor of South Korea

Japan’s Fukushima region because of radiation and water
Tokyo claims Seoul’s decision when against the International trade
agreement but the WTO sided with South Korea in April then there are three
cases in progress all filed by Tokyo Japan filed a complaint in June 2016
claiming that South Korea’s anti dumping duties imposed on Japanese air pressure
control valves violated WTO regulations and in June last year
Tokyo filed another complaint accusing Seoul of putting illegal anti dumping
duties on Japanese stainless steel bars the WTO’s dispute settlement body formed
a subcommittee in January to deal with that case lastly Japan has claimed that
the South Korean government’s restructuring measures injecting public
funds into the struggling shipbuilding industry violated the WTO’s agreement on

  2. I had no idea Japan tried to put tariffs on Japan's import on Koreans products in the past. They sure had been creating some issues with Korea just like now.

  5. No shxt, of course WTO is going to help SK. WTO is to help the developing country like SK, not the advanced country like Japan. That is why Trump wants out. The UN works the same way. Don't be naive, people.
