  1. The Communists are traders. Without a doubt. They robbed Laos of freedom and democracy and still have the nerve to call themselves liberators. They're nothing but liars, thieves, and criminals .

The main culprit was the Viet Cong. If we trace the source of the problem, it would all lead to the Viet Cong.

I think most of us know that Kaisone was the one controlling Souphanouvong behind the scenes. In turn, the Viet Cong was the one controlling Kaisone.

  4. France granted Laos independence in 1954. The Communist took over in 1975. Do the math. The Viet Congs didn't do anything but destroyed Laos.

  5. First, you need to understand why the U.S. bombed Laos. The Viet Congs used Laos as an illegal battleground. The North Vietnamese had to go through Laos to get to South Vietnam. So what did they do? They invaded Laos. All those bombs dropped on Laos was a direct result of the Viet Congs. So before you point the finger at the U.S. understand who the real culprit was.

  6. I understand the French gave parts of Laos to Thailand. I understand how the French treated Lao people. But I also understand if it wasn't for the French, there wouldn't be Laos. The French is the reason why Laos exist today. So you can't look at it from one side. You have to look at it from every side.

  7. You have to remember that France colonized Indo-China a long time ago. Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia were all French colonies. After Lao gained independence from France, there was no reason for the Communist to take over Laos.

  8. You need to realize just how cunning the Viet Congs are. Prior to the Japanese defeat, Ho Chi Minh worked for the U.S. In other words, he was an ally of the U.S. He then turned around and backstabbed the U.S.

Laos is no different. The Pathet Lao who sided with the North Vietnamese were just tools for the Viet Congs. Now, in hindsight, we see the consequences of siding with the Viet Congs.

  9. The Vietnamese today control Laos. They can do whatever they please. They chopped down trees, extract natural resources, bring in their people, and Lao people can't do a damn thing about it. On top of that, they're building a statue of Ho Chi Minh in our land. Does this sound like Vietnam has our best interest in mind?

  10. You don't make sense. Laos was already an independent country before the Communist seized power. So what exactly did the Viet Congs do other than invaded a sovereign nation? .

My uncle was a former Communist. He went out and lived in the jungle with them. He later left because he saw their true colors. Don't listen to Communist rhetoric, look at their actions. That's exactly what my uncle did. He saw the Communist for who they really were.

  11. Ho Chi Minh worked for the OSS(Office of Strategic Services) during World War II. The U.S. helped and trained the Viet Congs against the Japanese. Ho Chi Minh was only using the U.S. to serve his hidden agenda. Decades later, the U.S. would find out the true colors of Ho Chi Minh.

  12. The Viet Congs didn't do anything for Laos but destroyed our sovereignty. The fact that hundreds of thousands of Laotians were forced to leave because of the ill treatment and oppression is proof that the Communist hasn't done anything for Laos.

  13. War is never the answer. The purpose is to educate those in Laos who only see things from a Communist perspective. The new generation of Lao people are oblivious to Post 1975 Lao history. I don't blame them because they were force fed with a distorted version of history. The Communist will never speak bad of themselves and what they done.

  14. I know Lao people are still suffering from all the unexploded bombs. Look at it in terms of cause and effect. If we blame the U.S., then we also have to the blame the Viet Congs. We can't just pick and choose who to blame. If the Viet Congs didn't invade Laos and destroyed our neutral independence, then none of those bombs would have been dropped on Laos.

  15. Two wrongs don't make it right. As bad as the French were(like all Western imperialists), Laos exist today because of them. They forced the Siamese to give up the other side of the mekong, which is now Laos. If weren't for the French, we would all be "Esarn".

The Viet Congs on the other hand, used Communism as a justification to invade and destroy our sovereignty.

  22. Lao people by nature are pretty naive. I'm not saying all of us are, but a great number are naive. The Viet Congs were able to exploit that naivety in Lao people.

  23. Lao people never chose Communism, it was forced on us by the Communist crooks. I can guarantee you if Lao people had a choice between Democracy and Communism, Lao people would pick Democracy in a heart beat. Only those brainwashed by Communism think this flawed system is right for Laos.

  24. This monarchist flag is a lie. The Kingdom of Laos was created by the French in 1947 to keep Laos in line with world capitalism. The first flag of Laos is not this monarchist flag you anticommunists love. The Lao Issara flag ( today's flag of Laos ) was the first flag of an independent Laos. Unfortunate the Lao Issara were to weak and could not stop French imperialism. The Pathet Lao adopted the Lao Issara flag, which is now used in Laos. Your monarchist flag was created by the French in 1893!

  25. Laos is not COMMUNIST you idiots. Communism is a system of class less and state less society. What the Pathet Lao created was a mixture of Russian stalinism with Lao nationalism. Vietnam did the same thing.

Stalinism was soon abandoned and now capitalism is back.Beside your Kingdom of Laos you so love was autocratic and just as dictatorial as the Laos PDR. Today Laos is state-capitalist, neither socialist nor communist. The Laos government removed socialist symbols from its emblem in 1991!

  26. No because those anticommunists Laotians still hate the Pathet Lao for destroying capitalism and imperialism in Laos. Laos today is capitalist again, but those hypocrites claim to support democracy, while their royalist government was as autocratic as South Vietnam. Ruling by a wealthy upper class!

The Laotian anticommunists oppose the Lao People's Democratic Republic purely because they were defeated. They claim to be democratic, but worship the Kingdom of Laos and its autocratic monarchs!

  27. Laotians also never wanted French rule and their puppet Kingdom of Laos. That is why the Royal Army of Laos was defeated in 1975. If the Laotians love this monarchy of your, then they would not have supported the Pathet Lao. Win-out western imperialist support all anticommunist regimes in Indochina collapsed!

  28. You're a dumb Communist crook. Laos was granted full independence in 1953, so using the French as a scapegoat is utter nonsense. But coming from a deluded Communist crook, I wouldn't expect you know to know any better.

  29. Laos is not Communist? Really? Are you going to tell me the the sky is not blue too? If Laos isn't Communism, then why is there only 1 party in Laos? Why is the press controlled by the government? Why is the court system controlled by the government?

  30. Lao people who hate Communism, hate it because we understand just how cruel and evil the Communist crooks are. This evil ideology gave rise to Mao, Stalin, Pol Pol. Ho Chi Minh, Kaisone, and other evil characters.
